I have been photographing Martin since January this year. I first met him during a homeless project I was working on whilst at Stroud college. Martin has been living on the streets for some time along with Kelly, however, they now have a flat.
I really like this image. I felt the look on his face looks vacant, not happy or sad but absent of maybe a purpose. Through that you captured the whole homeless image perfectly, despite him no longer being homeless. I also like how neither him or the Big Issue he's holding are fully in frame, It looks alot like a photo from a newspaper. Ben

a can only agree with what Ben said, and the "Art from the Edge" feature of the magazine gives your way of cropping even more importance.

I like this image. I agree with both of the above comments ! But I do find the sticker slightly distracting. Other than that nice shot.
